  • The Petit Verdot tiny berries made a full bodied, rich and concentrated wine. It has earthy all spice, bright cherry and cocoa characters with soft, full rounded tannins. This is a young wine which only just opening up now.  A bottle or two can certainly be enjoyed now, but cellaring for a few years will reward those with willpower.
  • Our 2015 vintage Red Art Shiraz is a fabulous example of the fruit expression our vineyard delivers.  It is a young wine that is delicious now, but will definitely continue to develop in the bottle for many, many years to come, so a great one to pop away in the cellar. This is what the UK's most influential wine writer, Matthew Jukes, has to say about it:

"Taken from three blocks, roughly half their 5-acre vineyard. There is 10% whole bunch used in this wine and it sees a brief two weeks on skins.  French oak is used and it is mainly old, with only one new barrel employed in this vintage.  Once again, this is a wine with stunning purity and thrilling balance.  Complexity, calm and control are the mantras here and you will adore these wines if you are in a mellow, unhurried mood." 18.5/20  matthewjukes.com

  • AVAILABLE FOR A LIMITED TIME Rojomoma triumphs over big names of Australian wine to win the prestigious Red Wine of Provenance Trophy at the 2017 Australian National Wine Show in Canberra, with their Red Art Shiraz. The trophy is awarded to outstanding Australian wines that have shown a consistency of style and quality over many years. It celebrates wines with a sense of place and an ability to age and improve in bottle. Three vintages of the same wine, with the same label, spread across at least ten years are judged as a group. The winning wine was the Red Art Single Vineyard Shiraz from the 2016, 2010 and 2006 vintages. The National Wine Show of Australia is a competition for the best of the best as only wines that have received a medal at a qualifying Australian wine show can be entered. Winning the coveted Wine of Provenance trophy is a huge achievement for any winery as it is the only award which judges three wines together, not just one individual wine. • This wine displays the delicious full range of Cabernet Sauvignon characters with rich dark cocoa, blackberry, black currant and cherry flavours with round, powdery tannin. This is what the UK's most influential wine writer, Matthew Jukes, had to say:

"Very calm and also very red-fruited for a Cabernet, this is a silky-smooth wine with a terrific texture.  There are racy, herb and leaf notes which lengthen the palate and add detail to the nose, too.  A gentle wine with a mild-mannered character it is clear to see that these wines are made in the most Zen-like of atmospheres and this makes the wines so even and controlled on the palate." 18/20 Matthewjukes.com
