  • AVAILABLE FOR A LIMITED TIME The Red Wine of Provenance and Most Successful Small Producer Trophies Mixed Dozen To celebrate our recent 2 big trophy wins we have put together a mixed dozen containing 2 each of the wines relating to the trophies. The Red Wine of Provenance Trophy - National Wine Show of Australia 2017 Rojomoma triumphs over big names of Australian wine to win the prestigious Red Wine of Provenance Trophy at the 2017 Australian National Wine Show in Canberra, with their Red Art Shiraz.   The trophy is awarded to outstanding Australian wines that have shown a consistency of style and quality over many years. It celebrates wines with a sense of place and an ability to age and improve in bottle. Three vintages of the same wine, with the same label, spread across at least ten years are judged as a group. The winning wine was the Red Art Single Vineyard Shiraz from the 2016, 2010 and 2006 vintages.   The National Wine Show of Australia is a competition for the best of the best as only wines that have received a medal at a qualifying Australian wine show can be entered. Winning the coveted Wine of Provenance trophy is a huge achievement for any winery as it is the only award which judges three wines together, not just one individual wine. The Most Successful Exhibitor Small Producer Trophy - Barossa Wine Show 2017 Rojomoma is awarded the Most Successful Exhibitor Small Producer at the Barossa Wine Show 2017. • Chiaro (key-ah-row) is the bright, lively, modern wine in our range. This 2016 vintage is made from Tempranillo (86%) and Grenache (14%).  Sam and Bernie handpicked the Tempranillo on four different days earlier in the season, with 20% whole bunch in the ferments. Inspired by a traditional process, we made a small batch by drying lower ripeness bunches on racks for two weeks, before crushing and fermenting. The Tempranillo has a complex range of bright berry characters together with some richer flavours from the dried batch. The Grenache adds more perfumed characters and a hint of rose petal. To preserve its beautiful freshness this wine is unoaked, bottled early and ready to drink now. We have taken the word Chiaro from the Italian art term 'chiaroscuro' which describes the use of light and shade. 'Chiaro' is light, and 'scuro' is dark.
  • Made from hand picked Shiraz this Rose is fermented dry to make a clean and crisp wine. Strawberry and raspberry characters are balanced with savoury elements and a refreshing dry finish. Enjoy well chilled!
