• A full bodied concentrated wine with earthy spice, dark cherry and cocoa flavours.  The tannins are velvety soft. The lovely aged complexity adds great dimension and depth of flavor.
  • Wild Scarlet Shiraz Tempranillo combines the darker fruits of Shiraz with the vibrant cherry notes of Tempranillo, together with a strong savoury line and round tannin. The gentle use of oak balanced the wine, making it ready to drink now, but can also be matured for 10 years.   Named after the pretty ground cover Kennedia Prostrata, with stunning red flowers, and native to our vineyard in the Barossa, Wild Scarlet celebrates the beauty of our much loved wine region and the surrounding conservation parks that we enjoy hiking in.
  • OLD VINE GRENACHE A highly perfumed wine with bright raspberry and cherry fruits, earthed by a lovely savoury line running underneath.  It is balanced with elegant tannin and has great length. Our 132 year old dry grown bush vines have once again delivered a flavourful complex wine. Vines planted in 1886. Gold Medal, 95 points, Barossa Wine Show 2019
  • Chiaro (key-ah-row) is the bright, lively, modern wine in our range. This 2018 vintage is made from Tempranillo (80%) and Grenache (20%).  Sam and Bernie handpicked the Tempranillo on seven different days across the harvest season, with 45% whole bunch in the ferments. Inspired by a traditional process, we made a small batch by drying lower ripeness bunches on racks for two weeks, before crushing and fermenting. The Tempranillo has a complex range of bright berry characters together with some richer flavours from the dried batch. The Grenache adds more perfumed characters and a hint of rose petal. To preserve its beautiful freshness this wine is unoaked, bottled early and ready to drink now. We have taken the word Chiaro from the Italian art term 'chiaroscuro' which describes the use of light and shade. 'Chiaro' is light, and 'scuro' is dark.
  • A delicious medium bodied wine with fine tannins. A savoury, earthy wine delicately balanced by cherry and red berry flavours.
  • The Petit Verdot tiny berries made a full bodied, vibrant wine. Medium term cellaring has revealed a complex earthiness with lifted spice and a great softening of the tannins.  Very enjoyable now and will also continue to mature gracefully for many years to come.             Top Gold, National Wine Show of Australia 2012         Gold Medal, Barossa Wine Show 2012         Gold Medal, Barossa Wine Show 2013         95 points James Halliday This wine is such a joy to drink! We have carefully cellared it to give a beautiful smoothness and great intensity of flavour. It is wonderful to appreciate now and will also continue to mature gracefully for at another 10 years (if you can hold on to it for that long).
  • Our 2015 vintage Red Art Shiraz is a fabulous example of the fruit expression our vineyard delivers.  It is a young wine that is delicious now, but will definitely continue to develop in the bottle for many, many years to come, so a great one to pop away in the cellar. This is what the UK's most influential wine writer, Matthew Jukes, has to say about it:

"Taken from three blocks, roughly half their 5-acre vineyard. There is 10% whole bunch used in this wine and it sees a brief two weeks on skins.  French oak is used and it is mainly old, with only one new barrel employed in this vintage.  Once again, this is a wine with stunning purity and thrilling balance.  Complexity, calm and control are the mantras here and you will adore these wines if you are in a mellow, unhurried mood." 18.5/20  matthewjukes.com

  • A delicious medium bodied wine with fine tannins. A savoury, earthy wine delicately balanced by cherry and red berry flavours.
  • Wild Scarlet Shiraz is a bright, youthful wine full of fresh dark fruit, earthy spice and full round tannin.  Attractive oak and a soft mouth feel created a wine which is delicious to drink now, but can also be matured for 10 years.   Named after the pretty ground cover Kennedia Prostrata, with stunning red flowers, and native to our vineyard in the Barossa, Wild Scarlet celebrates the beauty of our much loved wine region and the surrounding conservation parks that we enjoy hiking in.
