Red Art Amplify Shiraz is the purest expression of Shiraz from our single vineyard in Ebenezer.

This innovative wine, with twelve years in the making, is a blend of 10 vintages from 2006 to 2018.
The luscious aged complexity from the older vintages is lifted by the intense primary fruit from the younger ones. The individual parcels knit together, removing vintage variation, and amplifying the Shiraz characteristics to create a unique and true varietal expression.

This first cuvee of Amplify Shiraz in 2019 is stunning to drink now, but will continue to age beautifully for many years.

Rojomoma, Amplify Cuvée 1, Ebenezer, Barossa Valley, South Australia 96 points

While the individual Red Art cuvées express their unique vintage conditions, Amplify – as it suggests in the name – concentrates the character of both the Shiraz grape and Rojomoma’s Ebenezer vineyard through a blend of 10 vintages of that wine. Library stock over 12 years, from 2006 to 2018 (excluding the tannic 2007, 2009 and 2013 vintages), were decanted, blended and rebottled for the first iteration of this exclusive cuvée. Husband and wife team Sam Kurtz and Bernadette Kaeding showcase the exotic incense-like spice and savoury olive and leather complexity of the mature wines which meld seamlessly on a silky, supple, layered palate alongside youthful, exuberant black berry purity. Delicious now thanks to its ripe, juicy fruit concentration and balanced alcohol, the deft acidity and fine tannin structure will ensure it continues to evolve. Just 186 litres of this inaugural multi-vintage cuvée were made, with only six bottles in large format, all individually signed and numbered – the labels designed and printed by Kaeding, an awarded photographic artist. At a recent Decanter panel tasting of current and classic Barossa Shiraz cuvées, Rojomoma was the top producer, its Red Art Shiraz 2016 – part of this Amplify blend – receiving the joint highest score of 96 points, with the 2004 scoring 95 points. The release of Amplify Cuvée II in another four or five years is likely to show some overlap in vintages, potentially from 2012 to 2023. A collector’s item in the making. Drink 2023-2030 Alc 14.4%
