Our 2017 vintage Red Art Shiraz is a full bodied wine with fabulous fruit expression and lovely vibrancy. We have 3 separate blocks of shiraz on our little single vineyard, and each plot provides different characters and tannin profiles. Together they create a wine with great depth and layers of flavours. Picked when the fruit just achieves full ripeness, the tannin is well developed. Maturation in mostly older French oak allows the single vineyard characters to shine through without strong oak influence. It is a young wine that is delicious now, but will definitely continue to develop in the bottle for many, many years to come. Out of stockWild Scarlet Shiraz Cabernet is a classic blend which synergises the richness of Shiraz with the dark cocoa of Cabernet Sauvignon. The gentle use of oak adds a further dimension and creates a wine ready to drink now, but can also be matured for 10 years. Named after the pretty ground cover Kennedia Prostrata, with stunning red flowers, and native to our vineyard in the Barossa, Wild Scarlet celebrates the beauty of our much loved wine region and the surrounding conservation parks that we enjoy hiking in.

The Petit Verdot tiny berries made a full bodied, rich and concentrated wine. It has earthy all spice, bright cherry and cocoa characters. The 2017 vintage has delivered slightly more elegant tannins which are deliciously full and round. This is a young wine which is just opening up. Enjoy it now, but also do yourself a favour and cellar some for a few years!

The Petit Verdot tiny berries made a full bodied, vibrant wine. Medium term cellaring has revealed a complex earthiness with lifted spice and a great softening of the tannins. Very enjoyable now and will also continue to mature gracefully for many years to come. Silver Medal Alternative Varieties Wine Show 2013

Chiaro (key-ah-row) is the bright, lively, modern wine in our range. This 2021 vintage is made from a blend of Tempranillo and Grenache. Inspired by a traditional process, we made a small batch by drying lower ripeness bunches on racks for two weeks, before crushing and fermenting. The Tempranillo has a complex range of bright berry characters together with some richer flavours from the dried batch. The Grenache adds more perfumed characters and a hint of rose petal. To preserve its beautiful freshness this wine is unoaked, bottled early and ready to drink now. We have taken the word Chiaro from the Italian art term 'chiaroscuro' which describes the use of light and shade. 'Chiaro' is light, and 'scuro' is dark.
